What Are Be.In.Movement Sessions

Sessions incorporate aspects of different movement modalities, mindfulness practices & movement game play as needed to support your strengthening, mobility and mindfulness goals. Sessions assist with alleviating pain, develop better muscular control and co-ordination, comfort, efficiency and freedom in your body.

The aim is always to bring better alignment for efficient and effective movement and train good bio mechanics to support growth, strength,  flexibility and necessary movement capabilities whether to support a specific goal or sports requirement.

MOVEMENT MECHANICS

Sessions Are Focused On:

Developing optimal breathing capability, muscular activation exercises, bio-mechanics re-training, stretching and release techniques, Pilates movement foundations, balance and strength.

Functional movement patterns to restore/rebuild – strength, movement ability and functional movement sensation(away from pain patterns)

Pilates

A core based strength and coordination practice that creates longer leaner muscles

Yoga Flow

A mat based flowing asana (poses) practice with meditation and mantra

Aerial Yoga

Using a fabric ‘hammock’ suspended from the roof  for a mindful, meditative, strengthening practice with a sense of playfulness through tumbles & swinging and hanging upside down (see demo)

Natural Movement Coaching

Incorporating all movement actions humans are designed to be proficient in – hanging, climbing, jumping, crawling, pushing, pulling, carrying weight, balancing – as per the MOVNAT system
